Lazio's Delio Rossi: We Didn't Do Well Against Torino
The Biancocelesti's run of defeats came to a halt yesterday, but coach Rossi was far from pleased with the way his team played. 
The Biancocelesti were especially unimpressive in the first half but managed to lift after the break and cancel out Ignazio Abate's opener. Nevertheless, Rossi was unimpressed.
"We didn't do well and they punished us," admitted the former Atalanta coach on Sportmediaset.it. "We started out the game nervously and they scored in their first opportunity.
"In the second half we grew in intensity and quality of the game, but we did worse than in Florence [against Fiorentina].
"Let's hope at least that we stopped the bleeding now that we moved away from 31 points in the standings."
This point did not allow Lazio to move up the standings, as they remained stuck in 11th place with 32 points from 24 games played.

Claudio Lotito Praises ‘Depleted’ Lazio
Lazio managed to salvage a point last night, as defender Sebastiano Siviglia headed in 15 minutes from time to cancel out Torino winger Ignazio Abate’s strike.
Delio Rossi’s men are in free-fall in Serie A at present, and were hoping to get back to winning ways after losing their last four games on the trot.
“We just failed to convert the chances we created,” Lazio President Claudio Lotito is quoted as saying by news agency ANSA.
“I am not looking for excuses, but I think the result was partly down to the fact that injury and bans severely depleted the squad.
“Moreover, some players came back from international duty on Thursday and they were probably somewhat tired. Otherwise, I feel we could have repeated our previous victories over Toro.”
Lazio had already met the Granata twice this season and came out on top on both occasions, winning 3-1 in Serie A and registering the same result in the Coppa Italia.
“The game did not start well and could have had an even worse finale,” sighed Lotito.
“And we did good in getting back into it after Abate’s goal, which was Toro’s only shot on goal.
“The lads wanted to win at all costs, because they do not accept this position in the table and are mortified.”

Sebastiano Siviglia: Draw With Torino Is The Right Result
The defender is satisfied with his side's performance after grabbing a vital equaliser...
The Bianconcelesti started brightly, but they went down after a poor clearance from Ousmane Dabo allowed Ignazio Abate to fire his side ahead. Siviglia struck back in the second half to rescue his side, but they were unable to find a winner.
Nevertheless, the stopper is hoping for some improvements.
"It was a game which I don't think we would have deserved to win to be honest," the stopper told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
"Torino scored with their only real shot on goal and it surprised us, saying that, we wouldn't have deserved to lose either so the draw is the right result.
"I am happy to have scored and we hope we can win the next game."
Lazio are aiming for Europe this term and the Italian is still hopeful his side can climb into the UEFA Cup positions.
"There are still plenty of games to go and it also depends on us as we have to step up and give our maximum," added the stopper.

Lazio performances against torino last night was awful. Lazio really off show the quality game of the team to be in fact. They weren't played as a team , more showing some skill individual, very low class and much concern. It was look like they have no coach anymore. Every attack path didn't show a deadful strategy. All attacks strategy always broke by opponent defence. It was so disappointed remember that we have many great players to be like pandev, rocchi, matuzalem, foggia which is notabene are experienced player in italian league. But their performance were very disappointing. Rely on crossing center and long direct passing to upfront was not ideal tactic to be played in serie-a. At the other side, the attack compiled from defence position to upfront should be gain postive result last night. lack of creativity, less of self confidence, and heavy pressure from Lazio ultras, 3 factors that according to me becomes lazio's weakness, In this case I think the most responsible people is coach Delio Rossi. His Strategy and tactics are old and. You should be ashamed with this result, Rossi. Please show your responsibility with resign immediatly from Lazio. We can't hardly long to see our Lazio being demolish by another team. We need some revolution, or Lazio will be gain another negative results. This should be a though season ever. LAZIO TORINO 1-1
It's as you were in the table for Lazio and Torino as both teams failed to take their chances at the Stadio Olimpico and ended up sharing the points as a result. Ignazio Abate gave his side the lead, but Sebastiano Siviglia saved the day for Delio Rossi's men. It was an entertaining game with everything and Aleksandar Kolarov knocked out the referee, but he will not get in trouble for it.
First Half
Lazio started brightly after Torino got the game underway. Delio Rossi had asked for a decent performance during his pre-match press conference, and the way his players started seems to suggest they were listening. Early pressing from Pasquale Foggia sucked in the Torino defenders and Cesare Natale conceded the free kick.
The position of the foul meant there was only ever going to be one taker as Alesandar Kolarov sized up the opportunity. The Belgrade-born defender whipped in a dangerous attempt which had Matteo Sereni worried. The ball flashed past the wall and seemed like it would rifle the net, but the bounce just before it flew in changed the trajectory of the ball and it hit the side netting.
It was a great start from Lazio and they kept on pressing. Foggia led the charge and his runs down the left had Torino's defenders struggling. An excellent one-two move with Goran Pandev saw the Granata defence open up, but Pisano made a last-gasp challenge to stop the Macedonian striker from launching a strike.
Torino's first real chance came from Blerim Dzemaili. The midfielder tried his luck from distance with a powerful volley after Alessandro Rosina set him up with a decent knock-down header. However, his finish was reckless and the ball flew over violently. Down the other end, Tommaso Rocchi teed-up Kolarov who smashed a brilliant strike towards goal, Sereni was helpless, but luckily for him the ball flashed wide.
Pandev was outstanding for his side. The hitman has a magnificent left foot, but it let him down on this occasion after he did so much work to set himself up. Paolo Dellafiore was turned inside out by some magical skills, but the finish was lacking. The striker tried to find the top corner with a curling effort which didn't find its target.
Both sides continued to create chances in a fairly open game, however, some poor finishing in front of goal saw the scores stay level. However, Torino struck ten minutes from half time and took an unexpected lead. Ousmane Dabo's ridiculous attempt at clearing the ball fell kindly for Ignazio Abate and the midfielder needed no second invitation to take his chance. Abate controlled the lose ball and buried it into the bottom left corner. It was Torino's first real chance of the game. Lazio looked perplexed as they had dominated the match until the goal.

The Granata played as if they were the home side as they showed Lazio they would not be looking to give up their lead. An excellent move constructed by Rosina and finished by Nicola Ventole should have doubled the lead, but the former Inter striker wasted his chance for glory.
Lazio were unlucky not to have been awarded been awarded a penalty after Goran Pandev was brought down in the box by Dellafiore. Referee Massimiliano Saccani took a long and hard view of the incident, but waved play on. However, replays showed the Macedonian had a great shout.
Both sides continued to entertain the crowd, the fans best moment came when a stunning drive from Kolarov hit the referee in the face with brute force. Saccani was momentarily dazed as he took the full force of the strike straight on. The game was stopped momentarily as medical staff ensured the match official was able to continue.
Ventola and Rosina were playing some great football between each other as Lazio struggled to contain them. Ventola should have done better after he was fed by Eugenio Corini, but Rosina committed a foul off the ball and the free kick went in Lazio's favour.
