Lazio consider Camolese
Lazio are reportedly weighing up the pros and cons of replacing Delio Rossi with Torino Coach Giancarlo Camolese. Claudio Lotito, the Lazio President, is said to be frustrated with Rossi, who has been unable to make the Biancocelesti consistent this season. Lazio have played some of the best football in Serie A over the past nine months, but all too often go on three game losing streaks. The team's mercurial nature is highlighted all the more by last week's victory over Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia Final. According to several reports in the Italian Press, Rossi is set to meet Lotito by the end of this week to discuss his future. Camolese has emerged as a possible replacement for Rossi after impressing in his second stint on the Torino bench. The 48-year-old former midfielder, who played for Lazio between 1986 and 1988, took over from Walter Novellino on March 28. Since then he has helped the Granata out of the relegation zone, albeit by a single point, winning three of his seven games in charge.
