Enough Talk, I Want To See Some Results - Delio Rossi

Lazio boss Delio Rossi has come down hard on his men, ahead of their Serie A game against Lecce on Sunday...

The fact that Lazio are in a bit of a rut is no secret, their troubles have been well documented, with some calling for the manager’s head

He himself has spoken to journalists ahead of his side’s trip to Lecce tomorrow, and Datasport reports, that he did not mince his words.

“It is a delicate game,” the determined tactician began, “But now it is time to get results, I am also looking for a certain type of behaviour on the pitch from my players.

“To win this game we will need to be focused and play with all the technical skill we possess.”

On the crisis in general, the Biancocelesti’s coach said, “We have a great side that has only been able to play like one intermittently, and I am not sure why. If I knew, I would fix it.

“We are not an overrated side," he insisted, "It is just that often we created a lot of chances without scoring, and then when we did score, we were already behind.”

Tommaso Rocchi could be back for this game, and that would allow Rossi to return to a front three. The 48-year-old said that to go back to Lecce, where he was once manager, will be special for him.“I have tried to engage with people wherever I have gone, and in Lecce I have some great friends, and so it is a pleasure to return.
